What Is Happening Under The Hood

Method #1: Rules-Based	Method #2: Text-Based
Method #1 takes every web page on the FINTRAC website and extracts any legal rules that appear on the pages. They're extracted in the form of if/then propositions, and stored. Then your search checks these rules to see if any of them apply, and then filters down the information to a final answer.	Method #2 takes the text of relevant pages, as judged by keywords that match with your query, and then scans the pages for relevant text. The text that best matches the question is then used to answer the question, then synthesized to create a final answer.
